Brief: Maximise the views from the site and to create a home with a strong relationship with the outside which maximised the sites potential for recreation and entertaining.

To maximised the opportunities of the site, the house was constructed as a two storey residence that was set into a man made hill.  The two storey residence allows all living areas and nearly all bedrooms areas to access to the wonderful views of Canberra.  Setting the house into the hill also allowed the upper floor direct level access to the southern entertaining areas, the living areas have immediate views across a southern covered entertaining area, to the new full size tennis court and swimming pool which was cut into the rear hill.
