Brief:   To create a beautiful sanctuary for our clients and their family. They also wanted to be able to entertain their friends with ease and in style.

The innovation for this home comes from how the building sits on the site and works with the site levels and site restrictions (easements and trees).  The house steps elegantly down the block creating a strong relationship between internal and external spaces.  The house shape creates a private northern central courtyard for year round living.  The innovative building form and clever use of materials create a building with strong character and simple elegance that will stand the test of time.
