Outback

The brief was to create a house that matched the personality of it’s owner.  The client wanted a simple but expressive house.  The house had to connect to the outside, be light and spacious, it had to have clean lines, no fuss, but it also had to be ‘different’.

This residence is divided into two wings which are externally expressed in the strong roof and wall forms.  This strong form is clad in metallic colorbond.  The simple form and minimal use of materials however hides the clever internal and external detailing that ensures the form retains it’s simple clarity, the attention to detail is second to none.
